He asked what else I had in my repertoire and I told him I was working on new lessons around a few key spiritual laws. He asked, "Really? But there's only one, isn't there?" Now you know as well as I that we in Unity toss "The Law of" in front of a lot of other words and phrases (attraction, giving, receiving, tithing, mind action, reciprocity, compensation, attention, vibration, love, etc.) as freely as we breathe, bless others and give thanks. So I was a little dazed as I responded out of instinct by asking, "What's that?" He quickly replied, "Cause and Effect, of course!" Your wonderful post reminded me of the thoughts I had after I hung up with Rev. Shawn. I've come to believe he's right, all that happens in our experience can be distilled down to another example of Cause and Effect. Thanks for the reminder!
